■Program Note

This work is a solo piece for soprano saxophone written for the young Russian saxophonist Vladimir Petskus. Its music unfolds like a labyrinth, allowing the performer to choose their own path with a high degree of interpretive freedom. While accurate pitch is essential, tempo, phrasing, and textural density may be flexibly shaped, making this a challenging repertoire that combines improvisational spirit with strong forward momentum.
