■楽曲解説

スタジオジブリ作品『ハウルの動く城』で幼少期のハウルがカルシファーを飲みこむシーンで流れる曲です。冒頭のテーマは希望とともに少しの憂いがあるような切なさを感じさせます。中盤は音楽が大きなスケールの音楽になり、壮大な宇宙のような広がりを見せ、後半には滑らかで綺麗な音楽の中に悲しい雰囲気を残すような、魅力の詰まった一曲です。

■アレンジ内容(解説：柳川瑞季)

演奏時間10分超えの長編ですが、同じ旋律が何度も出てくる中で、それぞれをどのように歌い上げるかが演奏の密度に関わってくると思います。シンフォニックな曲ですので、2人で大編成のオーケストラを演奏しているようにきかせて下さい。

"A Moving Piece from Howl’s Moving Castle"
This piece is heard in the scene where a young Howl swallows Calcifer in Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle. The opening theme conveys a sense of longing and a hint of sorrow alongside hope. In the middle, it expands into a grand, almost cosmic scale, and in the latter part, the music remains smooth and beautiful while still retaining a trace of sadness. It’s a track filled with captivating charm.
