■楽曲解説

どこか暗い雰囲気を漂わせるこの楽曲は、スタジオジブリ作品『天空の城ラピュタ』のエンディングテーマとして使用されています。井上あずさ版もよく知られていますが、杉並児童合唱団による合唱版も有名で、中学校の音楽の時間に歌ったという方も多いのではないでしょうか。これを聴くとジブリ！という感じがしますね。

■アレンジ内容(解説：柳川瑞季)

皆さんがよく耳にされる「君をのせて」よりも、よりシリアスにアレンジしました。自分の中にある孤独感や寂しさ、それを包み込む温かさや、耐え抜く自立心、など様々な場面を感じて演奏して下さい。いくつかのモチーフが曲全体のあらゆるところに出てきます。ぜひ探してみて下さい。

■Program Note

"A Melody Cloaked in a Somber Atmosphere"
This piece, carrying a somewhat dark mood, is used as the ending theme for Studio Ghibli’s Castle in the Sky. While the version by Azusa Inoue is widely known, the choral rendition by the Suginami Children’s Choir is also quite famous. Many people may recall singing it in their middle school music classes. Listening to it truly gives you that unmistakable “Ghibli!” feeling.

"A More Serious Arrangement of Kimi wo Nosete"
This arrangement of Kimi wo Nosete takes on a more serious tone than the version many of you may be familiar with. As you play, try to evoke feelings of loneliness, isolation, warmth that embraces those emotions, and a sense of resilience and independence. Several motifs appear throughout the piece, so I encourage you to listen closely and discover them as you perform.
