■楽曲解説

スタジオジブリ作品『魔女の宅急便』といったらこの曲、と言っていいでしょう。海が近い街では、どこか浮き足立ってしまうような感じがしますね。『魔女の宅急便』は宮崎駿監督が得意とする「空」を扱う作品であり、この曲では海風が吹く上空の様子が見えそうです。

■アレンジ内容(解説：柳川瑞季)

全体的にバロック調のアレンジになっています。曲中のメロディは、対位法的な部分にも出現しているので、ぜひ探してみて下さい。6/8拍子の部分はリズムに乗って楽しく、そのあとに控える冒頭のメロディは昔を懐かしむように、そしてまたバロック調に戻る、という曲の構成を感じて頂けると嬉しいです。

■Program Note

"The Iconic Song from Studio Ghibli’s Kiki’s Delivery Service"
When you think of Kiki’s Delivery Service, this is the song that comes to mind. In a town by the sea, there’s a feeling of lightness and excitement in the air. Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of Hayao Miyazaki’s works that features his signature theme of “the sky,” and in this song, you can almost picture the sea breeze swirling high above.

"A Baroque-Style Arrangement Throughout"
This arrangement is overall Baroque in style. The melody appears in contrapuntal sections as well, so I encourage you to listen closely and find those moments. The 6/8 section should be played with a fun, rhythmic feel, followed by a nostalgic return of the opening melody. After that, the piece transitions back to the Baroque style. I hope you can feel the structure and flow of the composition.
